ABOUT THE WHITE FERRY HOUSE
The White Ferry Hostel and Pub is a Victorian Gem offering backpackers a rare chance to stay in a traditional London Pub with all the trimmings! Our Hostel rooms are suitable for both individuals and group accommodation with a range of private twin rooms and shared dormitories. All rooms are comfortable, clean and secure with great facilities including a continental breakfast daily.
The downstairs pub and lounge at the White Ferry House offers two bars, a pool table, jukebox and free WiFi internet access for all visitors. Regular Pub events including karaoke, live music and daily happy hours offer hostel guests and locals a chance to meet and swap stories, over several ‘Real Ales.’ The traditional feel of the ‘Victorian Boozer’ has been retained in the recent refurbishment, while introducing a bit of modern polish, creating a London experience not to be missed.
The White Ferry House is an oasis of calm in central London, the River Thames winds past the bottom of the road! Within walking distance of Westminister, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. Battersea, Chelsea, Harrods and Knightsbridge are all near by. The White Ferry Hostel is located in London’s Zone 1, within walking distance of Victoria Station, Victoria Underground Station (Victoria, District and Circle Lines) and the Victoria Coach Station.

Our three Hostels offer excellent value for London group accommodation. With central London locations and a wide variety of private rooms and shared dormitories, our versatile and cheap group accommodation has something to suit everyone. We offer great discounted group hostel rates for groups of 15 or more people at any of our three London backpackers. Best Place Hostels welcomes University and Student Groups, Sports Teams or Tour Groups. With each of our friendly group hostels being situated above traditional London Pubs we are ideal for Hen and Stag Accommodation. Unfortunately we are unable to accept school groups or groups under 18 years of age for licensing reasons.

Directions to Hostel
Nearest Tube: Victoria (Victoria, District and Circle Lines)
We are located approximately an 8 minute walk from London Victoria Train Station and 5 minutes from London Victoria Coach Station.
On arrival at the train station follow the signs to London Victoria Coach Station.
From the coach station turn right onto Buckingham Palace road. (If coming from the train station, continue along Buckingham Palace Road, you will pass the coach station on your right hand side).
Continue to the set of traffic lights and turn left onto Ebury Bridge.
Walk over Ebury Bridge and continue straight through the small round about.
The White Ferry House is located on the right hand side.

National Express Coach £5.00 Starts from Central Bus Station between Terminals 1,2 & 3, Free train link from T4 and T5 there are 3-6 buses an hour. 45-75 minutes to London Victoria Coach Station.
London Underground Train £4.50 Visits all terminals, approx every 5 minutes.
45-60 minutes to London Victoria. Travelcards or Oyster Cards cheaper, zone 6.
Gatwick Airport
Gatwick Express Train – This is the fastest and most comfortable option directly into London Victoria, Costs £16.90 departs every 15 minutes takes 30 minutes.
First Capital Connect Train – This is almost as fast and is significantly cheaper than the Gatwick Express with a few stops into London Victoria, costs £8.90 departs 3-4 times an hour takes 30-55 minutes.
National Express Coaches – This is the cheapest option and takes the longest time, costs £7.50 broadly hourly takes 90 minutes into London Victoria Coach Station.
Stansted Airport
Terravision Bus – Non-stop to London Victoria Coach Station costs £14.00 takes 45 minutes.
